What’s On | The October 2017 Events Agenda For London Dogs

One of the capital’s hottest restaurants, M Victoria, is set to host a barking mad party on Saturday, 7 October to mark the end of London Fashion Week – thanks to some of the smartest turned out pooches, a four-legged DJ, a dine with your dog ‘6 Legs Menu’ and canine cookery masterclasses.

The brunch affair will be the bark of the town, with a special paw-strutting runway event by Tail-or-Made, a new tailoring concept for dogs and their owners by Saville Row master Mark Rodrigues.

Four legged guests will be able to try on the latest pooch couture and pose for a Vogue-worthy cover shot snapped by a fashion photographer in the ‘Beautiful Bitch Throne’. M Executive Chef Michael Reid will be hosting masterclasses on cooking for your canine companion.  For outgoing pet personalities, M’s Doggy DJ will be spinning the decks, but for those furry friends with an introverted nature, a nap and story time corner will be available for some quiet time as author Natalie Prichard, reads from her book, ‘A dog lovers dream’!

The 6 leg menu allows guests to dine on a two course menu simultaneously with their canine companion for £35.00 (of which £10 is donated to the Dogs Trust) enjoying Bacon and Peanut Butter Waffles and a chicken liver and steak salad whilst the hounds munch on Bacon and Peanut butter cookies and Dried Chicken livers!

M Restaurant Group owner, Martin Williams, has fused two of his passions – food and his love for dogs, in particular his Labradoodle, Hudson. “Londoners are fiercely passionate about their dogs, and we’re fiercely passionate about good food. Merging them in a trendy space is a no-brainer for M.”

To book your spot at the paw-some fashion week after party at M Victoria email RSVP@mrestaurants.co.uk.

M Victoria hosts a Six Legged Brunch menu every Saturday, and a fur-friendly themed event every quarter. Guests can enjoy 2 courses for both them and their best friend for £35. Every first Saturday of the month, Executive Chef Michael Reid hosts a ‘cook for your dog’ master class. For bookings contact rsvp@mrestaurants.co.uk.

We are going on a W.A.L.K but shhh don’t say it in front of the dogs!

To celebrate the fact that we are a dog friendly pizzeria we are throwing the ultimate event, at our Pilgrims Pizzeria in Exmouth Market for one day only – PUPPY PILGRIMS!

On the day we’ll have our usual classic pizzas, with an added lunch menu where we’ll be serving every dogs dream pizza, aptly named The Dogfather with 100% of the profits going to our furry friends at Whittingham Kennels, Greyhound Trust. We’ll also have some doggie ice cream from Billy & Margot on the menu for those with sweet canines.

Of course it wouldn’t be a Puppy Pilgrims party without Doggie Bags, so our lovely friends at Lilys Kitchen, Growlees, Pooch & Mutt, Duke & Fergie, The Labrador Company and Oli Juste have kindly given us some goodies to make sure all our pups go home with a little something!

Discover Dogs 2017

Sponsored by Eukanuba, Discover Dogs welcomes over 34,000 visitors and 3,000 dogs over the two days of the show (21st & 22nd October).

Pugs are a joy – that’s undeniable. These little furry friends are able to get a smile from us humans even when we are having the worst of the days!

Pug meet-ups have become a rare sensation in London – gatherings where both pug owners, and often, pug lovers meet to have their pugs socialise, and get lots of treats and cuddles. However these events are scarce, and pugs can get endless love (and treats!). As pug owners and lovers we thought, why not spread the love?

We are opening the first full-time pug cafe in London, Pugs & Pals Pop Up Cafe, in the heart of Bricklane – a space where pug owners and pug lovers can meet and share the love for pugs, coffee, drinks and human and pug-friendly treats!

Pugs & Pals Pop Up Cafe, will open Oct 26 – Oct 29 with a series of super fun events:

• Pugs & Cocktails

• Puppy Hour

• Pugs & Frenchies

• Pug High Tea

• Pugs vs. Frenchies Fashion Show

…and many more!

Get ready to try puggilicious cupcakes, puggachinos, pugcktails and everything else we have in store! Booking is essential – book your visit here
