On the off-chance you’ve already got all your (human) Christmas Shopping out of the way and are looking for something “Christmassy” to do over the weekend, then you might fancy popping along to one of these Christmassy Canine Events that are happening over the next few days. The added bonus is that they’re all supporting good causes so you get to feel good about going (and spending).
Santa Paws Christmas Fair – All Dogs Matter, Sunday 7th December 12:00-16:00
Another event from the (very busy) people at London Dog Rescue Charity, All Dogs Matter. Lots of lovely pooch-focused goodies and stalls from people like Lily’s Kitchen, Hiro & Wolf, Poppy & Rufus and Love Sniffy’s, music, mulled wine and mince pies to get everybody in the festive spirit. Four-legged friends get to visit Santa Paws in his grotto so they can have some festive fun too! For all the info see our What’s On Listings
Christmassy Canines – Battersea Dogs and Cats Home (Old Windsor), Sunday 7th December, 10:30-15:30
Another opportunity for four-legged friends to visit Santa Paws (he must get around a bit!) and to have their photo taken with the man himself in his sleigh. They (or you) can even take home a personalised photo. Santa Paws will be bringing another stash of his mince pies along for you to enjoy as well as Christmas cards and Battersea dog treats that will be on sale to raise money for the 9,000 homeless residents Battersea cares for every year. For all the info see our What’s On Listings.
Carol concert – Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, Monday 8th December, 19:00
Join Battersea Cats and Dogs Home’s to sing carols and celebrate Christmas in the beautiful surroundings of St Luke’s Church in Chelsea. Mulled wine and mince pies will also be served and there will be a festive dog Guard of Honour to welcome you from Battersea’s four-legged residents. For all the info see our What’s On Listings.
Have a lovely Christmassy weekend!
