London Dog Events On This Week 06-09 December

Exciting news for London Dogs! This December, dog walking and pet sitting service Rover.com is launching the world’s first dog trampoline park in Stratford. The Dog-poline sessions offer owners and dogs a pawsome and exclusive experience to beat the winter blues and being stuck inside.

Owners can sign up for free 10-minute sessions at ZAPspace in Stratford, London, where dogs can let their fur down and bounce the winter blues away. Well-behaved owners are of course also welcome on the trampoline to bounce along too.

Get your paws on one of the tickets by visiting Billetto (see link below) and choosing a time slot, but be quick as there are limited spaces available!

The ‘Impawtent’ Info:

Dogs will be allowed on the trampoline one at a time and must pass a vet check by an on-site veterinarian before taking to the trampolines. A trampoline court monitor, animal safety handler and veterinarian will be present at all times to ensure the dogs are safe.

Prior to bouncing, each dog will be given (and must pass) a stringent check by an on-site vet who will be present throughout the experience.

Pet Pavillion Christmas Party: To celebrate the launch of their brand-new festive VIP Pet Pampering Spa Packages, Pet Pavilion are hosting a Christmas Pawty for 30 Very Important Pets and their owners on Thursday 6th of December 6pm – 8pm at their recently opened Battersea store, London.

Pupparazzi will be waiting outside for the guests to arrive at the launch event, while inside owners are invited to sip on prosecco as dogs indulge in doggy canapés, luxury food tastings, accompanied by all the ‘Malbark’, ‘Chardognay’ and ‘Pawsecco’ a dog can dream of.

When they aren’t indulging in a spot of late-night Christmas shopping at the Wonderland themed store, dogs can dance the night away with their owners at the Doggy Disco.

All guests, both two-legged and four-legged, are encouraged to wear Christmas Jumpers and prizes of complimentary grooming services will be given to those who take the best images of their outfits on the evening.

There’s a pawfect chance for some human and hound Christmas pampering on December 6th at dog-friendly apothecary Malin+Goetz, where creative London lifestyle brand Fetch & Follow will be bringing together some of their friends for an evening of Christmas and canine celebration for the Fetch & Follow Festive Pamper Party.

Join Battersea on Friday 7 December 2018 at St Luke’s Church in Chelsea for the annual Battersea Christmas Carol Concert 2018 celebrations.

As well as festive carols, mulled wine and mince pies, you’ll be treated to a very special guard of honour by some of Battersea’s beloved dogs who’ll give you a warm welcome of woofs and wagging tails.

The Dogs of Instagram London Event is coming to town! On 8th December over 70+ instafamous UK dog influencers will be coming together for a day of canine Christmas fun. There’ll be biscuit decorating workshops for both human and hound from Neoh & Nobo & Essence of Cakes, as well as a special hub space to relax and enjoy the Christmas Spirit!

As well as mingling with the most connected hounds about town, there will be complimentary food and drink from Good Yard Ldn, The Barista Coffee Speciality and many more for you to enjoy.

General Entry Tickets to the Dogs of Instagram London Event event are limited (100 available) and are £13 including complimentary food and hot drinks on the day. These tickets do not include the workshops however.

Workshops Tickets are £18 each, limited to 25 places per workshop. This includes complimentary entry to the hub space with complimentary food and drink as per a normal entry ticket, 2-hour workshop with either Neoh & Nobo or Essence of Cakes, around 4-5 biscuits each to take home and other special goodies for participating.

The Danson Park Schnauzer walk would like to invite you to the December Schnauzer Christmas Jumper Walk on Saturday 8th December.

The group will meet at Danson Stables pub at 11:45am to begin the walk at 12pm. The walk will be at a leisurely pace so the group can stay together.

The organisers will be posting an exact route and contact details ahead of the walk so stay up to date with in the Facebook Event.

Please note all owners are responsible for themselves and their own dogs, the hosts of this walk do not take responsibility.

Of course, it is not compulsory to wear Christmas Jumpers to attend the walk but if you’d like to please do!

Businesses in Hampstead Village, London are coming together to support Clementine the Bulldog’s Birthday Benefit, the first ever charity fundraiser to rescue a group of purebred British Bulldogs and a Bull Terrier from awful living conditions in China.

Clementine the Bulldog’s Birthday Benefit will take place at the Duke of Hamilton on Saturday 8 December in aid of the Edward Foundation, a charity who help Bulldogs at risk of abuse and used as a commodity.

The Edward Foundation have rescued over 1,000 dogs within the UK but recently took on the dogs from China having heard awful stories about their treatment.  The dogs are currently out of danger living in China in quarantine and receiving incredible care and will soon be flying over to new lives in England thanks to be donations.

Good News! The first dog has successfully completed the flight from China to the UK and will be guest of honour at the fundraiser on Saturday 8th December.

The event is the brain-child of Stacey James who moved to Hampstead from the USA last year. Stacey who has her own Bulldog Clementine and has turned Clementine’s 5th Birthday party into a successful fundraising event.

It costs approximately £1,000 per dog for the quarantine, pre-care and their ‘freedom flight’ to the UK.  Organisers are hoping that the local community in Hampstead will come out in force to support the event to get all of the British Bulldogs to the UK – a country where the breed first began.

The event organisers are encouraging an Instagram take-over on the day where people can post images of their own Bulldogs from across the world, watch videos from the event and share their comments. @cleverclementine, @hampsteadhounds, @theDukeNW3.

Clementine the Bulldog’s Birthday Benefit takes place on Saturday 8 December, at 1pm at the Duke of Hamilton, New End Avenue, Hampstead – humans and dogs all welcome! The event will be suitable for families with red-carpet photo opportunities, puppy play areas, limited doggie bags and lots of fun and fundraising, come and show your suppawt!

London dogs, the Wooferendum needs you for the Wooferendum Hero Dogs Walk! TV Presenter Antoine de Caunes (of Eurotrash fame), is making a documentary-film about Brexit and how the creative ways that people in the UK have campaigned to stay in the EU.

Antoine would like to feature the Wooferendum and has asked if some of the hero dogs from the Wooferendum can do the walk again, so he can film them and interview the dogs and some of their owners.

So if you are a dog and you:
1. Came to the Wooferendum
2. Wanted to come to the Wooferendum
then now is the chance to bark out again – for this film!

Dogs, remember to bring your Wooferendum signs (oh and your owners)!

We’ll meet at 10am at Waterloo Place (just below Piccadilly Circus – same starting place as for the Wooferendum) and walk through St James’ Park to Parliament, with the event ending at 12pm.

Woofs of note: This isn’t expected to be a big march, but the more the merrier.

It’s time for the Whippet Up Christmas Walk! Santa Paws and Elfsie cordially invite you all to come, get merry and zoom with us on the ‘Heath, on Sunday 9th December. Yes, ladies and gentlewhippets, it’s Whipmas time once again! Get your red coats and tinsel out and join the fun as we celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.

The Whippet Up Christmas Walk will be fundraising for Candy Cane Rescue who rescue and rehabilitate Whippets and Greyhounds from the meat trade in China and have some Whippet Up Christmas cards available if you haven’t had a chance to bag yours yet.

The group meets at the entrance opposite Hampstead Heath overground on the corner of South End Road and South Hill Park. Depending on turnout the organisers may split the pack into 2 starting groups.

The Hampstead Heath Schnauzer Walk is back with a Schnauzer Christmas Jumper Walk in aid of Schnauzerfest on 9th December.

Where: Meet at No.1 Pond by East Heath Road at 11am, walk will start at 11.30. Also the same pond opposite the park’s parking lot.

A voluntary donation will be collected for Schnauzerfest before the walk heads off. Don’t forget the Christmas Jumpers!

Parking: There is parking by the meeting point it is expensive £3.50 an hour but parking is FREE on the roads on a Sunday so please bear this in mind.

You are also responsible for your own dog and any lost dogs are not the responsibility of the organisers.

The group will be meeting at the Bowls club in Alexandra Recreation Ground, before heading out across the park, along parts of the Green chain walk to Kent House road, then turning left and through the walkway down to the River Poole and across Lennard road into Cator Park & onto Kent House Coffee shop.

The best dog jumper will be the winner of a fabulous bouquet of flowers, and all walkers will receive a discount on delicious coffee and cake.

The Santa Paws in the Park Festive Dog Walk will take approx. 60 mins at a gentle pace – there are some uneven surfaces so sensible footwear is a must. Please note that dogs must be kept on leads and are the owners responsibility.
