The annual Mudchute Fun Dog Show 2019 takes place this year on June 2nd 2019, organised by the Friends of Mudchute Park & Farm. Events will take place on the top field from 12-3pm for fun competitions, doggy themed cakes, kids games, tombola, raffle, face painting and more!

Registrations open at 11am and all registered waggy tails receive doggy treats There will be prizes for the winners and a special award for Best in Show!

Camberwell Arts Festival is celebrating its 25th Anniversary down on Camberwell Green with a free communal feast, an arts market, free activities and workshops … and the party themed Camberwell Arts Festival Dog Show on 15 June 2019!

Bring your furry friend down to the Green to try out our have-a-go ‘ ‘! Dress up to match your mutt for the ‘ ‘ competition or get involved in our classic pooch party game (with a twist) – ‘ ‘!

Palace Paws Dog Show 2019 | It’s the return of the Crystal Palace Festival Dog Show on 16 June!

£3 entry fee, plus £2 per category entered, payable on receipt of application. Part of our 2019 Crystal Palace Park event, the Village Green, on Sunday 16th June 2019, held in the Jubilee Gardens (next to the bus station). There will be prizes and rosettes for all the winners, so bring down your family and friends for the furriest show in town!

This means the Summer Fun Day Dog Show at Hampstead Garden Suburb with All Dogs Matter is back for another year! Kew Fete Fun Dog Show 2019 is back as part of the Kew Fete on Saturday 22nd June 2019.

The Kew Fete takes place from 11am-6pm and you can look forward to….

• Reuben Bond’s vintage Fairground with carousels, a helter skelter and many more rides for the kids.
• The stage with local acts performing from 11am – 6pm.  Acts are from locals schools, local performing arts clubs and bands etc.
• Around 110 stalls at the Fete
• Food Court with over 15 stalls with a great selection of food and drink
• Beer tent
• Charity stalls, many of our local charities are represented at the Fete.
• The Friendly Dog Show – for many the highlight of the Fete.  You can register your dog between midday & 2:30pm (don’t leave it too late spaces are limited!), with the show starting at 3:00pm.
• Tug of War competition, for adults and children.  Enter your team (teams of 6) on the day before 1pm with the first pull at 1:30pm
• Charity Raffle – with prizes donated by local businesses, the raffle will be drawn at 5pm.

Getting there:

• Kew Fete is within easy walking distance of Kew Gardens Station (District line and London Overground) and Kew Bridge Station (London Overground).
• Buses that stop on the Green are the 65 and 391 and the 237 and 267 buses stop a short walk on the other side of Kew Bridge.
• To plan your journey use the planner on Transport for London’s website and use the postcode TW9 3AP as your destination.
• Parking: Please, please use public transport. There is limited parking around the Green and most of that’ll be used by the stall-holders that attend the Fete.

Notes Puppy Brunch June | Notes Kings Cross are holding a puppy brunch on Sunday 2nd June – bring your four-legged friends to relax and mingle with other pooch-parents of London!

Doggy Sunday at Hampstead Gaucho is back at the beginning of each month! The people at Gaucho are more than a little bit dog-obsessed and wanted to create a truly dog-friendly dining experience in London, so created Doggy Sunday at Gaucho Hampstead. On the first Sunday of every month, book a table under your dog’s name quoting ‘Dog Sunday’ and the red carpet will be rolled out for all arriving pups – treats and good times are had by all, hounds and humans alike!

After the success of the recent Woof Time Dog Brunch, The Mere Scribbler have decided to do it again on 15 June as it was PAWsome and make the move to the Garden to enjoy the sunshine.

Starting at 11am, enjoy two full hours of brunch and barking mad games with your four-legged friends including: Doggy Style fashion parade, Barking Bake Off, Paw Printing Station, Smooch the Pooch photobooth, Dancing Queen, Tricks & Kicks (most obedient dog wins prizes) and Rottweiler Raffle to raise funds for the Dogs Trust!

There will also be a collection bag for Battersea Cats & Dogs Home for any of your unwanted doggy related items so be sure to bring them along.

Woof Time Dog Brunch June Tickets are just £15 for brunch and all the fun and games so book now to avoid being in the dog house.

After successful events south of the river at Near & Far Peckham, Club Puppicana is making it’s way North for very the first time. Enjoy a delicious Mexican brunch from Elote with vegan, veggie and meat options and UNLIMITED Mimosas and Bloody Marys for 2 hours. PLUS your pooch can enjoy Pawsecco (or Bum Sniffer ‘Beer’), unlimited doggy treats & more.

The Two Terriers Social Club are organising a doggy picnic in Hyde Park on Saturday 1st June so fetch your favourite humans, pack a picnic, and bring along a blanket for an afternoon of fun in the park.

Dogs will get their own picnic of Different Dog Food and plenty of treats. Balls will be provided for those who want to play.

The picnic spot will be just behind the Albert Memorial – look out for the balloon with Archie and Freddie’s faces on. Archie and Freddie be there from 12.00pm.

Doggy Picnic in Hyde Park tickets are FREE but booking is required as they are limited to 40 people due to Royal Parks restrictions.

**In the event of bad weather this event will be cancelled and ticket holders will be notified on May 31st.

Sighthound Sundays x Worldwide Whippet Walk | The Sighthound Sundays June walk is going to be a whippet, Italian Greyhound & small lurcher special on 2 June.

We’re joining the Worldwide Whippet Walk collective and will be raising money for Just Whippets Rescue via walk donations.

Spaces are limited to 30 dogs, so please to secure your spot register on Eventbrite.

The group will meet opposite the Pavilion Cafe.  Attendees will join the red or blue team and walk on the lead through the park, lasting around 40 mins.

Photographers, Ben, Matt and Ivor will capture the walk and a family photo at the end. If suitable the red and blue teams will be invited to have off-lead play in separate areas and optional zoomie if plenty of free space.

If the weather is nice we will have a picnic, otherwise, head to the People’s Park Tavern with their massive beer garden!

Important information to note, the walk coincides with All Points East in Victoria Park so there will be sound checks & perhaps some vehicles in the park. If your dog is sensitive to loud/stop-starting sounds then it might be best to give the walk a miss on this occasion.

The first Sighthound Sessions Walk for hounds is taking place in Twickenham South West London on 2nd June which coincides with the date for the worldwide whippet walk.

The Sighthound Sessions Walk is organised by Blue Marlin the Whippet who has partnered with Bazil & Ruby Animal Empire and Pet Boutique for the walk. A collection will also be taking place for Candy Cane Rescue to help raise funds for all the great work they are doing to help provide hope and care for greyhounds less fortunate and save them from the awful meat trade in China.

It will be an on the lead walk around Marble Hill Park. Greyt and small hounds all welcome. Meeting at 11am at Bazil & Ruby  for pupcakes first (14 Church Street, Twickenham, TW1 3NJ) before walking around to the park.

Come and join the doggy fun at Rolo and Luna’s Birthday Party! Rolo turns 1 on the 6th June and Luna turns 1 on the 9th June, what better way of celebrating this whizzing whippet character and loving blue merle lurcher than a birthday party fit for a King and Queen. Rolo and Luna will be celebrating their birthday party on the Queen’s birthday 8th June 2019 at West Ham Park.

Firstly we will start off with a walk around West Ham Park, followed by doggy yoga which of course is optional but its amazing how the dogs relax into it, we have brought in the expert doga Mahny to run the session , please bring a yoga mat or blanket unless the grass is OK with you. Mahny is amazing no dogs are too big or small for doga.

To finish Pups and Prosecco with a meatloaf doggy birthday cake. Homemade by the one and only Newham dog community Volunteer Rachel.

What is the Great Global Greyhound Walk 2019?

The Great Global Greyhound Walk is an annual dog-walking event that aims to raise the profile of rescued and retired (ex-racing) greyhounds, showing the world what beautiful companions these dogs make. This year’s walk is Sunday 9th June 2018.

The event primarily involves hundreds of organised “walks”, not just in the UK but right across the globe, that all take place on the same day.  All walks are free to attend and are open to everybody, whether they are a sighthound owner or not.

The Great British Greyhound Walk started in 2009. Beginning as a seed of an idea, it has taken place annually on the 3rd Sunday of June with the attendance growing from 1624 sighthounds attending 23 walks in 2010 to 4605 sighthounds attending 146 walks in 2015!

In 2014 and 2015 we went ‘global’, inviting international sighthounds to walk as well and the response has been amazing – 38 extra walks worldwide, with 863 sighthounds attending.  The figures spoke for themselves, we were no longer just a ‘British’ event and so 2016 saw it evolve into the ‘Great Global Greyhound Walk‘.

This year is the Great Global Greyhound Walk 10th Anniversary!

Fetch & Follow Walk and Talk Series Faversham to Whitstable – POSTPONED UNTIL 27 JULY! | At Fetch and Follow a daily dog walk is an integral part of the regular routine come sun, rain and even snow. Having a dog opens a world of opportunity every day with a new adventure every time you head out together.  For an adventure out of the city, on 27 July we are going on a coastal walk from the historic town of Faversham to the seaside town of Whitstable. The walk is flat and will take us across the countryside and coastline. Once we finish the walk you will be free to spend time in Whitstable before heading back to London.

We will be catching the 08.25 am train from London St Pancras international arriving in Faversham just shortly after 10 am. The walk will take roughly around 4 hours.

Bring Your Dog To Work Day 2019 organised by HOWND aims to raise money for wonderful charities that make a big difference to the welfare of animals. This year, on Friday 21st June 2019, businesses from across the UK will welcome their dog loving employees into the workplace, along with their loyal four-legged companions.

Established in 2014, Bring Your Dog To Work Day (as seen on ITV’s This Morning, Waitrose Weekend, The Independent and more) is an annual nationwide event that raises money for charities dedicated to making a difference to the welfare of dogs. All businesses and employees are welcome to join in the fun in what has become the nation’s best day out for dogs!

Both businesses and individuals can register to participate and make an online donation in aid of charities who make a huge difference to the welfare of animals. If your workplace isn’t a suitable environment for dogs, you can still play an important part in Bring Your Dog To Work Day! You can make an online donation, uploading your logo (businesses) or pooch selfie (individuals), and recommending Bring Your Dog To Work Day 2019 to your friends and family. More info here!

International Doga Day 2019 is a doggie yoga flashmob class conducted across the globe to meditate on the greatest living species known to man and to raise awareness of animal protection overseas. Our dogs will lead the yoga class with an upward facing paw against torture and violence, in specific Yulin and the Asian Dog Meat trade.

• Saturday 29th June | All day | I Believe in Dog Pop-up Farewell Festival: After what will be an amazing month, we’ll be going out with a bang! Join Wild at Heart Foundation on Saturday 29th for Seven Dials’ pedestrianised festival where we’ll be getting into the party spirit with craft beer, music, and a few very special guests. Finally, at 4pm, we’ll be leading all of London’s dog lovers on a Wild at Heart Foundation Dog Parade round historic Seven Dials – don’t miss out! Attendance to the farewell festival is free, and WAHF look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible. PLUS keep your eyes peeled for exciting update, including very special guest appearances!

STREATLIFE Food Festival is Alexandra Palace’s legendary free Street Food & Craft Beer Festival that takes place over four summer weekends along the south and Palm Court terraces on the 25/26 May, 15/16 June, 27/28 July and 17 August as part of the Great Fête and as featured in our guide to the ‘Best Dog-friendly Festivals in London and Nearby‘

STREATLIFE is dog-friendly and features over 30 of London’s top street food vendors, craft beer bars, cocktails and more. It’s not just about food either – Saturdays will feature epic DJ sets and live music acts and Sunday will have a more relaxed vibe, with sets curated by radio stations.

FrenchieTown Festival is a brand new UK fun festival celebrating all things French Bulldog! Brought to you by ChihuahuaTown events, who host some of the UK’s biggest breed specific dog festivals on 22 June 2019.

Take part in our red carpet event!
Glitz, glamour, music, red carpet, live commentary, huge rosettes, and gorgeous Frenchies set the scene!
Guests can look forward to seeing our large pageant setup, with new backdrops, our best pageant rosettes so far (rosettes for pageant winners up to 10th place), and beautiful glitzy crowns for pageant winners up to 3rd place!

Huge fun dog show
We know how much Frenchie fanatics love show classes, our huge fun show is open to Frenchies and Frenchie crosses.
There’ll be gorgeous large rosettes for winning dogs placed 1st to 10th in every class!
No training or experience required to take part.
OVER 120 LARGE ROSETTES TO BE WON!

Our best in show and RBIS winners will take home gigantic rosettes, and large bags of food kindly supplied by Burns. So grab your dog a costume to join the fun and take part in our fancy dress parade and contest!

This year we will be hosting a brand new team race, alongside everyone’s favourite at every festival we host, “The Cheese Run”
