After a super busy line-up last month of things going on for doggos, if you thought things were going to quieten down for June, think again! Plus this month it’s time for the day we’ve all been waiting for…Bring Your Dog to Work Day 2019! If you’re not lucky enough to be able to take your dog to work every day, then this is the one day a year you may be able to persuade your boss to make an exception and all for a fantastic cause. With so much going on, here’s our handy round-up of ‘London Dog Events And Things To Do June‘ to help you get your doggy diaries sorted!
And don’t forget, if you prefer to see the events in regular chronological date order, you can see this on our London Dog Events Calendar.
Dog shows dominate the line-up this month so clear some space on the wall for those winning rosettes but be warned, London dogs a competitive bunch!
If you’re not the competitive type but you love a good walk, then you’re in luck as there are plenty of group walks to join in on too, especially if you’re a sighthound.
And for the more chilled puppers, one of the leisurely brunches on the list may be more your thing.
There’s also going to be a World Record Attempt for the number of dogs doing a simultaneous sit with ITV’s Lorraine Kelly and ITV are looking for doggos to ‘paw’-ticipate. If you think your sitting skills are up to scratch, put your paw up to apply, details here.
Whatever you choose, we hope you have a wooferful time! Just click on any of the event links for more details….and enjoy!

One of London’s best rooftop bars, Savage Garden, has gone barking mad by introducing the special monthly ‘Savage Garden Rooftop Dog Brunch’ due to popular demand.
*** Updated, read our review of the Savage Garden Dog Brunch here ***
Dubbed as London’s wildest sky-high destination, Savage Garden, brings decadent décor, jaw-dropping views, dramatic cocktails and savage menus to Tower Hill. Located atop the DoubleTree by Hilton, the ethos is focused on the unexpected. Two terraces provide 360-degree views of the London skyline including The Shard, Tower of London, The Gherkin and St. Paul’s Cathedral.
Guests have a wide variety of savagely good brunch dishes to choose from off the a la carte menu that is as far removed from traditional brunch items as possible. Panko chicken cutlet, bacon and radish salad, cranberry, caper, sriracha mayo and a sunny-side fried egg, as well as bourbon-glazed beef short rib, charred sourdough and poached eggs’, are tipped to be some of the favourites.
Cocktails are abundant, with bloody mary ‘red snappers’ and zesty mimosas all making an appearance. Pooches will receive a Savage pupcake baked with delicious dog-friendly ingredients.
Bring your pooch to this sky-high destination and enjoy a day out with your best friend. This brunch is definitely not going to the dogs.
And if you don’t have four legs, you can still come and enjoy the usual Play Brunch that is on offer and make some new furry friends.
The Savage Garden Rooftop Dog Brunch takes place from 12pm until 4pm with reservations at 12pm, 1pm or 2pm. To reserve your table visit www.savagegarden.co.uk or call 020 7709 1043.

If the weather is nice we will have a picnic, otherwise, head to the People’s Park Tavern with their massive beer garden!
Important information to note, the walk coincides with All Points East in Victoria Park so there will be sound checks & perhaps some vehicles in the park. If your dog is sensitive to loud/stop-starting sounds then it might be best to give the walk a miss on this occasion.

Come and join the doggy fun at Rolo and Luna’s Birthday Party! Rolo turns 1 on the 6th June and Luna turns 1 on the 9th June, what better way of celebrating this whizzing whippet character and loving blue merle lurcher than a birthday party fit for a King and Queen. Rolo and Luna will be celebrating their birthday party on the Queen’s birthday 8th June 2019 at West Ham Park.
Firstly we will start off with a walk around West Ham Park, followed by doggy yoga which of course is optional but its amazing how the dogs relax into it, we have brought in the expert doga Mahny to run the session , please bring a yoga mat or blanket unless the grass is OK with you. Mahny is amazing no dogs are too big or small for doga.
To finish Pups and Prosecco with a meatloaf doggy birthday cake. Homemade by the one and only Newham dog community Volunteer Rachel.
We also have Ben and Tintin from Ben’s dogs doing photography.
Please come and go whenever you please, should be a lovely day to bond with our dogs and get to know other dog owners in London but more importantly, celebrate the Little Rolo And Luna’s birthday 🙂
Hope you can all come, open invite no dog left behind and HOOMANS without dogs welcome!

The Great Global Greyhound Walk 2019 Victoria Park Walk takes place on Sunday 10th June with more details to be released soon. The Great Global Greyhound Walk 2019 Victoria ParkWalk is for greyhounds, sighthounds and other breeds from a greyhound family.
Find more details of the Great Global Greyhound Walk 2019 Victoria Park London Walk here.
What is the Great Global Greyhound Walk 2019?
The Great Global Greyhound Walk is an annual dog-walking event that aims to raise the profile of rescued and retired (ex-racing) greyhounds, showing the world what beautiful companions these dogs make. This year’s walk is Sunday 9th June 2018.
The event primarily involves hundreds of organised “walks”, not just in the UK but right across the globe, that all take place on the same day. All walks are free to attend and are open to everybody, whether they are a sighthound owner or not.
The Great British Greyhound Walk started in 2009. Beginning as a seed of an idea, it has taken place annually on the 3rd Sunday of June with the attendance growing from 1624 sighthounds attending 23 walks in 2010 to 4605 sighthounds attending 146 walks in 2015!
In 2014 and 2015 we went ‘global’, inviting international sighthounds to walk as well and the response has been amazing – 38 extra walks worldwide, with 863 sighthounds attending. The figures spoke for themselves, we were no longer just a ‘British’ event and so 2016 saw it evolve into the ‘Great Global Greyhound Walk‘.
This year is the Great Global Greyhound Walk 10th Anniversary!
