Now that spring is here (or at least it let us think it was), we can look forward to lots of London Dog Events taking place over the coming months. Here’s our roundup of what’s happening this weekend:
Saturday 21st March
North London Dog Charity All Dogs Matter, invites you to come and meet some of their lovely dogs looking for new homes at their first adoption drive of the year. The adoption drive will take place this Saturday at North London pet shop, Primrose Hill Pets from 12-3pm. Come and say hello to the dogs (and the team) and find out about adopting, fostering or sponsoring an ADM dog.
Sunday 22nd March
If you haven’t registered for the ZSL Pooch Parade at Battersea Park this Sunday, there’s still time to do so. Even if you’re not taking part, you can always just pop down to the park to show your support for the Pooches and the Lions! The Pooch Parade is raising funds for ZSL’s Lions400 Campaign and starts at 10am (registration from 9.15am). There is a £10 registration fee per dog and a £40 sponsorship pledge to take part.
On the other side of town, there will be lots of family fun at East Greenwich Pleasaunce at the Canine Family Fun Day on Sunday afternoon (12-4pm). The event is aimed at raising awareness of dog welfare as well as creating a local dog/owner community. There’s lots going on and an open to all dog show with lots of pawsome categories. Entries are £2 per dog per category and all proceeds go to a dog rescue charity.
