Last weekend a dream house for dogs came to London thanks to Lily’s Kitchen House of Treats in Belgravia. Not only was the House of Treats, full of treats (literally) but it was set up to be five different rooms designed for dogs to enjoy to their heart’s content, all to celebrate our four-legged best friends and the launch of the new Lily’s Kitchen Proper Treats.
Belinha was invited along for the VIP(up) preview on Friday ahead of the weekend long event, and even with a poorly paw, this was one event she was not going to miss!
When we arrived, we were met with an enticing house on the streets of Belgravia that just beckoned dogs to come in and play.
Inside the House of Treats, each of the five rooms had been carefully curated to create a doggy dream house where dogs could do what they liked and enjoy all the things they might not be allowed to do at home…
Petflix & Chill – the ultimate dog den where woofers can sit on the sofa and get away with it, watch canine-friendly movies and chew away at their favourite snacks or even the TV remote.
Put A Sock In It – a doggy heaven of socks in the specially created laundry room featuring socks, socks and more socks just ready to steal! Socks in the washing machine, socks in the laundry basket and strings of socks on washing lines.
Tummy Time – a mini dog spa with proper pampering for pets including a specially designed puppy-massage bed, doggy bathrobes and slippers, and an expert dog masseuse. Pups could take their pick of paw, tummy, back or hot bone massage or just sit back and enjoy the treats.
Bubble Bath – bath time is fun-time, and this bubble and ball-filled bathtub made most dogs want to dive right in. Although Belinha decided the treats were best enjoyed outside of the bath balls or not. No surprise there.
Bark in the Park – an autumn wonderland equipped with a wheelbarrow full of Proper Treats! Woofers were welcome to jump, dig and roll in a pile of leaves to their heart’s content.
Although Belinha isn’t a sock stealing kind of girl, she had the best time relaxing on the sofa in the Petflix & Chill den and getting pampered in the Tummy Time spa. All while being hand-fed treats of course…definitely more her style.
Much to every dog’s delight, there was a stash of the delicious new Lily’s Kitchen Proper Treats in every room to try and a yummy goodie bag full of the treats in each of the flavours to take home too.
Lily’s Kitchen Proper Treats…
Aside from giving pups (and people) a pawsome experience with the House of Treats, the event launched the new treat range: Lily’s Kitchen Proper Treats. As you would expect from Lily’s Kitchen, these new natural treats are packed with proper meat and are made to a grain-free recipe. There are five delicious flavours to choose from: Chomp-away Chicken Bites, The Best Ever Beef Mini Burgers, Simply Glorious Chicken Jerky, Scrumptious Duck & Venison Sausages and The Mighty Duck Mini Jerky.
Belinha and Moleque were happy to sample all of the flavours and given the speed at which they were gobbled up, it was definitely a paws up from them.
From my perspective, I loved that they all contain natural ingredients, are grain-free and are packed with meat. The fact that they don’t break the bank at £2.50 a bag is good too as it makes it easy for everyone to treat their dog to healthy snacks even if on a budget.
Finally, I have to say (and on behalf of Belinha too) the House of Treats has to be the best idea for a treat launch ever! It was an amazing experience and a real treat (no pun intended) for the dogs. For us, the only way the House of Treats experience could have been improved was if it was in town for longer so thank you Lily’s Kitchen for creating such a pawsome experience for dogs to enjoy and for our delicious Lily’s Kitchen Proper Treats!
We’ve got a treat waiting for some lucky pups, with a bundle of the new Lily’s Kitchen Proper Treats (all five flavours) up for grabs for FIVE lucky dogs in our Giveaway…
