On 29th September 2019, the Pet Industry Conference launches at the DOGGO STYLE MARKET. The Pet Industry Conference offers dog owners (and their hounds) the chance to get up-close-and-personal with business leaders and pet influencers from around the UK.

Debuting with a selection of industry-specific talks, guests can choose from a program that includes “So you want your dog to be a Therapy Dog”, “Branding and Marketing 101” and “Training your dog for the camera” – a lesson in how to get insta-worthy snaps like a pro with IG star, Le Corgi.

Devoted to every dog and its owner, DOGGO STYLE brings together the very finest in pet apparel, food, grooming and much more, in the form of a traditional Sunday style market. Bringing together various elements of the pet industry to help teach owners and brands how to be better content creators, the Pet Industry Conference has sourced special speakers to share their knowledge and insight with guests on the day.

Pet Industry Conference Sessions

WORKING WITH BRANDS 12:00-12:50

Join industry experts for a deeper look into the relationship between brands and influencers when it comes to collaborations on social media. You will learn top tips on how to work with brands, staying on a brands radar, content creation, pitching, and contract negotiation from our leading PR expert and Content Creator.  How do you negotiate a contract? Pitching? Work with a leading PR and Industry Expert to find out how to approach and work with pet brands in a professional manner.

TRAINING YOUR DOG FOR THE CAMERA 13:00-13:50

This fun-filled class will teach you how to improve your social media game to increase exposure and get some insta worthy snaps of your dog. You will learn basic training methods and tricks that will make taking a picture of your pup easy. Tried and proven techniques to ensure you are capturing your audience and getting maximum exposure.

SO YOU WANT YOUR DOG TO BE A THERAPY DOG? 14:00-14:50

Do you dream of your dog visiting hospitals/schools/offices and helping others? Therapy Dog training is becoming more and more popular with city dogs and with good reason. Come and learn about what therapy dogs do and assessment criteria. If there is time, Therapy Dog assessments can be done on the spot.  (All profits donated to Canine Concern)

HOW TO START A SUCCESSFUL BLOG 15:00-15:50

Join Stephanie, the human behind the award-winning blog Spaniel Life for a talk on blogging, what works, what doesn’t and how she gets thousands of views on her dog blog.

BRANDING AND MARKETING 101 16:00-17:00

How do you make yourself stand out in the fast-paced world of Social Media? How do you create a cohesive brand identity (including content creation/ themes/etc) for your blog and social media presence? Do You know your audience? How do you use hashtags? Social Media Consultant Sophie Bradley will share all her knowledge so you can walk away with an influencer marketing strategy to take your game to the next level.
