Event Details

Dogs are welcome to join their owners at the first dog-friendly cinema at Picturehouse Central January 2019 (humans welcome without a dog too).

The Film: Stan & Ollie

Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly are brilliant as legendary movie icons Laurel and Hardy in Stan & Ollie, the charming and touching story of what would become the triumphant swansong of Hollywood’s greatest comedy double act.

Eager to reignite their film careers, they embark on a gruelling variety hall tour of Britain and Ireland. With the support of their wives Lucille (Henderson) and Ida (Arianda) – a formidable double act in their own right – the duo reaffirm their love of performing, and for each other, as they secure their place in the hearts of the adoring public.

Dog-friendly Cinema at Picturehouse Central January 2019 – please take note of the cinema’s dog-friendly policy:

If you attend this screening with a dog, you’ll be issued with a fleece blanket to cover the seat used by the dog or to use as a rug if the dog sits on the floor. During the screenings, we will provide bowls of water around the screen. We will leave lighting levels a little higher than usual during the screening and lower the volume of the soundtrack.
