Amber the Cav Repawter is organising a Charity Dog Walk for Pets as Therapy on Saturday 15th September from 9.30 to 11am at Royal Arsenal Riverside.
The meeting point is at Artillery Square, Royal Arsenal Riverside SE18 4DX at 9.30. We will walk through the foot tunnel to Royal Victoria Gardens and back to Wellington Park by 11am.
This will be followed by a Doggie Picnic and Event set up by Berkeley Homes and treats for the doggies will be provided during the walk as well.
This is a Charity Dog Walk For Pets As Therapy. Pets As Therapy is a humanitarian charity with people and pets at its heart. Since being founded in 1983, Pets As Therapy has been at the forefront of community based Animal Assisted Therapy across the length and breadth of the UK.
Volunteers with just a small amount of spare time each week work with their own pets, to bring joy, comfort and companionship to many individuals.
Any money raised supports volunteers to be able to legally attend hospitals, care homes, schools etc. There are over 7000 volunteers nationwide.
From 11am to 2pm at Wellington Park you can enter your pooch for just £1 into the time-trial agility course. The speediest dogs can win 1st, 2nd or 3rd place!
There will also be a dog-show where your pooch could win:

*Prizes to be won at 1st place!
