Shoreditch is the home of all things quirky and cool and turns out that includes dog-friendly Shoreditch venues too. If you’re wondering where to go in Shoreditch that’s dog-friendly, The Bike Shed Motorcycle Club located under the railway arches definitely ticks the box. With 12,000 sq feet of bikes (well obviously), a restaurant, shop, lounge and even a dog-friendly barbers what’s not to love?!
Although I’m not necessarily a motorbike fan, this place is seriously cool. The decor is just fabulous with motorbikes doubling as artwork. Dogs are made to feel very welcome, we were literally waved in from the outside terrace area which is something that doesn’t happen very often when you have a dog.
On the Sunday we popped in, the restaurant was pleasantly busy serving up a tasty menu of British food and in the lounge there was a relaxed vibe and plenty of space to hang out. We decided to stay in the lounge area along with several other pups who had made themselves comfortable such as Larry the French Bulldog. Belinha was quite happy with this decision and quickly spotted the sofa with her name on it.
It was really good to see that there were no restrictions in terms of dogs being able to sit on the sofa with you and staff made sure plenty of water bowls were on offer to keep hounds hydrated.
For the fellas in the house there’s plenty to keep them occupied with the motorbikes on display, the on site shop specialising in handpicked speciality and limited edition items and even the on site (dog-friendly) barbers should a last-minute haircut be needed.
Even if bikes aren’t your thing, the vibe is so laid back and welcoming that you can easily spend a couple of hours chilling with your pup and making new four-legged friends as we did. By the time we left, the motorbikes had even grown on me (and Belinha). So definitely a paws up for this unique and seriously hip dog-friendly Shoreditch venue from us.
