Get ready for some March madness when it comes to just how much is on for London Dogs this month. Our ‘Dog Events In London This Month March 2019 Edition round-up‘ is literally packed with London Dog Events and dog-friendly things to do (nearly 50 of them to be precise) and we have no doubt there are more still to come what with London Dog Week later this month!

Yes, March is the month of the first London Dog Week from 24th-31st March and there is literally loads going on – from Fashion Show’s to Brunches galore, London Dog Week has all your four-legged fashion needs covered.
If you’re not a four-legged fashionista but more of the sporty type, you can take your pick from some of the more active doggy events on this month – think Running with dogs, Yoga with dogs or just a good old walk.
There’s a dog show with a difference this month too at Brewdog, bringing you a beer inspired take on Crufts – ‘The Crafts: The World’s Beeriest Dog Show’ which should be entertaining both for participants and spectators (depending on how much beer you’ve already had).
And ‘Pawlitical Pups’ fear not, you get your own Brexit event courtesy of the organisers of the pawsome Wooferendum who this time bring you a Brexit Dog’s Dinner, just in time for yet another meaningful vote.
Don’t forget new events are added to the London Dog Events Calendar as we hear about them so check back regularly…hope to see you at one these many events!

Dog Yoga Class: if you love dogs and yoga you are the paw-fect candidate to join this yoga session hosted by the UK founder of DOGA.
This is a 90 min yoga class in which you’ll get the chance to bond with YOUR DOG through yoga meditation, breathing and some awesome yoga / Doga poses.
Doga was a humorous discovery by innovative yoga expert, Mahny Djahanguiri, created when she explored the interconnectedness between her and Robbie (her pooch).
Doga has taken the world by storm with Mahny and Robbie showing off their skills on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, The Alan Titchmarsh Show, BBC News and CBS News.
In this class, you will engage in relaxing and invigorating yoga practice alongside your dog, while bonding and strengthening your relationship. You’ll learn new yoga positions and practices that you can take home and experience with your pooch every day! This class is a one of a kind activity that your dog will love too!
The benefits of Doga are listed with excellent reasoning. Increasing mindfulness, trust, deep sleep and reducing anxiety for both you and your dog can lead to a nurturing, fulfilling life together.
Beginner yoga students are welcome! The session runs for 90 minutes, it’s a Hatha / kundalini class in which you can interact with your dog or someone else’s!
Doga is open to everybody, whether you have a dog or not however should non dog owners want to purchase a ticket we cannot guarantee a dog. If you do bring your dog along, then they must be social, vaccinated neutered and insured.
Dog Yoga Class T&C’s / Health & Safety:
- All guests are required to bring their own yoga mat.
- All owners will need to send an updated scan of vaccination / health certificate plus short bio / description of each dog to doga@dogamahny.co.uk Owners will be asked to sign a waiver at the beginning of each class

Event Details
Dog-friendly Cinema Picturehouse Central | March – If Beale Street Could Talk is adapted from James Baldwin’s powerful novel by Moonlight director Barry Jenkins, If Beale Street Could Talk is a lyrical celebration of love, both familial and romantic, told through the prism of a young African-American couple’s struggle for justice in 1970s Harlem. At the centre of the story is Tish, a newly engaged woman who races against the clock to prove her lover’s innocence while carrying their first-born child to term.
Jenkins’ elegant third feature sings with soulful performances from a largely unknown cast, and paints a wonderful portrait of New York against a backdrop of social change and injustice. It’s a dreamy, sometimes heartbreaking tale of love against impossible odds, and a timely reminder that compassion can be a force of nature.
Picturehouse Central are happy for you to bring your dog along to this special dog-friendly screening (you’re welcome without a dog too). Before the screening there are a few things to consider:
If you attend this screening with a dog, you’ll be issued with a fleece blanket to cover the seat used by the dog or to use as a rug if the dog sits on the floor. During the screenings, we will provide bowls of water around the screen. We will leave lighting levels a little higher than usual during the screening and lower the volume of the soundtrack.
Please be aware that we reduce capacity when offering ‘dog-friendly’ screenings, so there may be fewer tickets than usual. We limit dogs to: one dog to one adult. For further information, see dog-friendly screening policy in our cinema.

Event Details
*** Postponed until 10th March due to the rainy weather forecast*** Wooferendum dogs, it’s time for a Brexit Dog’s Dinner on Sunday 10th March where dogs will be barking out to save the UK from the brink of no-deal disaster, and demanding that the people be given the final say to leave or stay in the EU – it’s time for MPs need to ‘break the party leash’ and vote in the best interests of the country.
Let’s show Parliament what millions of people think: that Brexit is a dog’s dinner – and we aren’t going to swallow it.
Join the team who brought you the Wooferendum for a massive photo opportunity, with huge cans of ‘Pedigree Chump’s Brexit Dog’s Dinner’ to send a clear message that it’s time for MPs to come off the leash, vote to ensure that a no-deal Brexit is avoided and to give the people of the UK a final say. Get your owner to dress you up and bring home-made placards too.
The Brexit Dog’s Dinner photocall will take place at 1:30pm in Victoria Park Gardens, a lovely little public park right next to Parliament. So please arrive for about 12:45 to be there in good time an enjoy the build up to it. We’ll have Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn masks to give out that your owners can wear, so that your owner can be an important part of the visual! We’ll have a pile of ‘bones to pick’ with Brexit, and Teresa May and Jeremy Corbyn dog chews too.
There will be special Nigel Farrage and Boris Johnson pee stations, in case you would like to relieve itself in a political manner.
If you’d like to take your owners for walkies before or after the photocall, St James’ Park is only five minutes walk away.
If you are a human reading this and you don’t have a dog, but you’d like to come down for the Brexit Dog’s Dinner spectacle or to wear a Theresa May or Jeremy Corbyn mask, feel free to join us. It’s going to be a lot of fun – bark out and spread the word!

Puppy Yoga Class March – a fun puppy yoga class in London on 17 March.
PETS YOGA is a Yoga Club based in London combining our passion for yoga and baby pets! We offer yoga classes in London with pets such as puppy yoga classes. You come with your yoga mats, we invite the pets!
All our animals are invited to our classes through pets owners, licensed breeders or charities which helps with their socialisation. Licensed breeders are free to tell the yoga attendants about the pets looking for their new home after the class (Pets Yoga doesn’t take any return on it).
Pets Yoga does not sell pets, there is no pets trading or adopting within Pets Yoga.
We spoke to Pets Yoga to confirm verify that the puppies that will attend the classes come from licensed breeders or charities and Pets Yoga confirmed that they research thoroughly the sources for the puppies that will attend the Puppy Yoga Classes.
Puppy Yoga Class March will be held on 17th March and there will be 4 classes:
- 9.00-10am
- 10.30-11.30am

Event Details
Fetch & Follow’s Walk & Talk March Edition: The Walk & Talks series, bring together dog owners with a different expert for a dog-friendly walk in varying spots across the capital. With Spring just around the corner Fetch & Follow are excited to announce that the March walk will be about learning to run with your dog.
Running with your dog is a fantastic way to keep fit and have fun. Also known as canicross, it’s an exciting and fast growing sport. On Sunday 17th March we will be joined by Clare Grierson and Jo Ashbridge who will be sharing tips on how you and your dog can learn to run together.
Canicross (canine + cross-country) is the sport of off-road running with your dog and is a fantastic way for both dog and owner to become healthier and fitter through the use of the outdoors. Running with your dog strengthens the bond and is ideal for dogs with high energy levels, behavioural issues or that simply cannot be let off the lead for whatever reason.
For the Fetch and Follow Walk & Talk March Edition (Sunday 17th March) we’ll discuss canicross as an activity, the ideal kit, cues and the range of benefits for dogs and humans. There will also be an opportunity for a short, 15 minute run to test canicross kit. However, if you would like to learn more but would prefer to simply join the walk, that’s fine too!
The walk will be taking place at 10am on the 17th March at Epping Forest / Leyton Flats .We will be meeting at the entrance of Snaresbrook Road, at the west side of Eagle Pond.
Fetch & Follow’s Walk & Talk March Edition | Sunday 17th March 2019 – 10am
The Fetch and Follow Walk & Talk March Edition walk is £5 to attend with the money raised going to Chilterns Dog Rescue Society which is the shelter Jo rescued her beloved dog Molly from.
Fetch & Follow’s Walk & Talk March Edition Terms and Conditions
