If you’ve come to The Dogvine and thought, hang on this looks different…am I in the right place, yes you are! We’ve just had a little spruce up this weekend and given The Dogvine a long overdue summer makeover so that’s why things look a bit different. I’ve been meaning to give the blog a makeover for a while now but there’s always another event to go to, blog post to write, dog-friendly place to check out (or the day job to do), so it never quite got done. Well, thanks to the long weekend it’s not on the to-do list anymore and paws crossed you like it!
We’ve gone for a more clean, modern look but don’t worry it won’t be all black and white, we’ll still be keeping things colourful in the spirit of The Dogvine Crew’s Brazilian heritage (the dog’s heritage that is). You’ll probably spot that Belinha’s famous ears feature in our new logo too.In terms of what we’ll be blogging about, London Dog Events and things to do with your dog in London will of course still be a key feature (we are the original London dog blog after all). One kind reader told me last week, The Dogvine is their bible for What’s On for London Dogs, so we’ll be making sure the London Dog Events Calendar continues to be the most comprehensive online listings resource for London Dogs (think of us as Timeout for Dogs).
We’ll be featuring more dog-friendly things to do (and continuing to add to the London dog-friendly directory) as well as featuring more pet lifestyle products and brands that we think you should know about. And given our rescue roots, promoting pet adoption and putting the spotlight on rescue dogs and brands that support them will of course be important too.
Belinha will continue to be face of the blog (or should I say ears) but Moleque and Nina will be getting off their usual spots on the sofa to do some more repawting. Look out for some London Dog Guest Repawters too.
As the London lifestyle blog for the urban dog, we’ve got lots more exciting things planned so watch this space. If you have any comments on our ‘new look’ or would like to see any new features on the blog I’d love to hear them. Please do pop us an email or leave a comment here or on our social channels: Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
And finally, THANK YOU…whether you read our London dog blog once a day, week or month the fact that you do makes all the hard work (and sometimes tears), worthwhile.
Love & Woofs,
Teresa, Belinha, Moleque & Nina x
